Here’s some more of my favorite quotes from the Book of Mormon. They come from Jacob through Mosiah 26:
“Our lives passed away like as it were unto us a dream.” Jacob 7:26
“Whatsoever thing ye shall ask in faith believing that ye shall receive in the name of Christ, ye shall receive it.” Enos 1:15
“I rejoice in the day when my mortal shall put on immortality, and shall stand before him; then shall I see his face with pleasure, and he will say unto me: Come unto me, ye blessed, there is a place prepared for you in the mansions of my Father.” Enos 1:27

Great one, Reine! I love that one too.. along with the others that are similar… “how beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of them that publish peace.”
A favorite is Moroni 7:46-47: “Wherefore, my beloved brethren, if ye have not charity, ye are nothing, for charity never faileth. Wherefore, cleave unto charity, which is the greatest of all, for all things must fail–But charity is the pure love of Christ, and it endureth forever; and whoso is found possessed of it at the last day, it shall be well with him.”

I’ve just started reading the Book of Mormon a little over a month ago. I am to be baptized in two weeks.
My favorite, so far, is a pretty simple one. I just love the way it is written. It is a dying Lehi speaking to his sons.
2 Nephi 1:14-15: ” Awake! and arise from the dust, and hear the words of a trembling parent, whose limbs ye must soon lay down in the cold and silent grave, from whence no traveler can return; a few more days and I go the way of all the earth. (15) But behold, the Lord hath redeemed my soul from hell; I have beheld his glory, and I am encircled about eternally in the arms of his love.”
I was baptized on February 15th, 2010. I am pretty new to the church but my favorite verse is Heleman 5:12
“And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of Christ, the son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall be upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to gulf of misery and the endless pool of woe, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall.”
I love this verse. It is one of our scripture mastery in seminary. =)
this is one of my favs. i just got baptized on June 6th and this quote has helped me a lot…Alma 26:12
“Yea, I know that I am nothing;at to my strength I am weak; therefore I will boast of my God;for in his strength I can do all things;yea, behold many might miracles we wrought in this land,for which we will praise his name forever”
Pretty much all of Ether chapter 12…
“Faith is things which are hoped for and not seen; wherefore dispute not because ye see not, for ye receive no witness until after the trial of your faith” (verse 6), and
“And if men come unto me, I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them.” (verse 27)
That second one has been my guiding light, as I am having a grueling battle with anger – my biggest weakness.
I’m preparing a home teaching lesson right now on the Book of Mormon being our personal guide (based on the First Presidency Message from Henry B. Eyring in this month`s Liahona) and i came across two good ones. Mosiah 5:2 and 2 Nephi 31:20-21. Well, all of 2 Nephi 31 is great, but i really like the last couple verses.
Mosiah 5:2 “And they all cried with one voice, saying: Yea, we believe all the words which thou hast spoken unto us; and also, we know of their surety and truth, because of the Spirit of the Lord Omnipotent, which has wrought a mighty change in us, or in our hearts, that we have no more disposition to do evil, but to do good continually”
2 Nephi 31:20-21 “Wherefore , ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting on the words of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life. (21) And now, behold my beloved brethren, this is the way; and there is none other way nor name given under heaven whereby man can be saved in the kingdom of god. And now, behold, this is the doctrine of Christ, and the only and true doctrine of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, which is one God, without end. Amen.”
